Mission Statement

 Scott Schinto

Within my teaching philosophy you will find high expectations for my students as well as for myself. Trust, Respect, Discipline, and Character building are some of the qualities that I will incorporate daily to help the student become a successful contributor in life.

I believe that modeling and mentoring is of the utmost importance in education. In today’s society education is based on relationships with young people who are students. Today’s students are not impressed by the quality of your intellect, until they know that you are able to communicate with them personally.  Each and every student has a unique quality that is derived from many different backgrounds and conditions.  As educators we take this into consideration when we put students into our learning environments. This is all a matter of respect and common courtesy. I want all of my students to feel comfortable in the environment that we have created for each other.  I also want the students to respect the area where they are being educated. It is my belief that all of the people that go through my classroom will have had an enjoyable yet extremely challenging experience. That is LIFE!
