CRC Open Houses

These evening Open Houses allow students and parents a chance to delve into the many facets of the College Resource Center.  Open houses are from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. on the following dates:

NCAA Eligibility Center Night for the North Suburban Conference

Monday, September 12, 2011                         7:00 p.m.              

Wauconda High School

This program is for all 9th – 11th graders who are considering college athletics.  Learn about the NCAA eligibility process, recruiting, and deadlines.  Seniors who are considering college sports but have not attended this program before are welcome. 

 

Senior Assembly

Wednesday, September 14, 2011  

All seniors will attend this assembly before their senior class photo to go over application procedures and deadlines.

 

Parents of Seniors College Information Night

PLAN test results will be distributed.  This short presentation serves as a great jumpstart to college planning.

Senior families will have the opportunity to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) with the help of a college financial aid professional.  Pre-registration is required for this program.

 

“’Cats to College”:  A Planning Workshop for Juniors and Parents

Thursday, February 16, 2012                          6:30 p.m.

All juniors and parents should attend this workshop as we tackle the tough questions:  What type of college is right for me?  How do I start my college essay?  How do colleges review my application?  Representatives from a wide variety of schools and majors will fill you in on the details.
