FALL SEMESTER
- Focus on achieving. Get good grades, refine your study skills, and work hard.
- Take the most rigorous academic schedule you can handle
- Review and update your Four-Year Plan in Naviance
- Take the PLAN test given to all sophomores in the fall. Your PLAN score predicts how you will score on the ACT.
- Continue your involvement in a club, sport, job, or volunteer activity that you enjoy. If you haven’t gotten involved in an organization yet, do so!
- If you hope to participate in college athletics, attend the annual NCAA Eligibility Center Workshop.
- Attend the CLC College Fair in October.
- Attend the PLAN Interpretation Night in December.
SPRING SEMESTER
- Choose your courses for your junior year.
- Explore careers that math your interests and strengths in Naviance.
- Work on your resume in Naviance to help you keep track of activities, work, and service hours
- Visit the CLC College Fair in March.
- Attend Life After Libertyville: For Sophomores and Parents, to jumpstart your college search
- Take AP exams for courses you may be enrolled in
- Explore summer opportunities, like courses on college campuses, work experiences, volunteer or travel opportunities
- Plan some college visits over the summer.
